End the Neglect is today’s microBEnet microbiology blog of the day.

This blog is from the “Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases” which is “an initiative of the Sabin Vaccine Institute dedicated to raising the awareness, political will, and funding necessary to control and eliminate the seven most common neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). NTDs are a group of bacterial and parasitic diseases that infect one in six people worldwide, including half a billion children.”

Not all the posts are about microbes or microbiology but all have some connection to pathogens or parasites of some kind since these are the causative agents of the NTDs being targeted.
